Hospital Gowns - Prologue
There was darkness. In fact, it was so dark, I wasn't sure if I was even awake. In fact, I wasn't sure if I wanted to wake. My right leg felt broken, I couldn't feel my left leg, and my head pounded. When I moved my arms, the muscles jerked around.
Opening my eyes slowly, I looked down at my torn body. Suddenly I remembered why I couldn't feel my leg. It was gone.
Pushing myself up with my shaky arms, I sat up in the hospital bed and leaned back against the wall, flicking a switch to turn the overhead light on. The room was all white, and I was wearing a light blue hospital gown. Pressing the button for the nurse, I sighed and rubbed my head,
